If you have a Listed Building, it is so important to seek professional advice before starting any work. A popular misconception is that it is only the outside of the property that is Listed. This is not the case at all. It is the whole building that is Listed, inside and outside; from windows and doors, to staircases, floors and walls, etc. It is prudent to seek the advice of an architect specialising in Listed Buildings who can liaise with the Conservation Officer on your behalf in order to gain permission for any works that may be required. When commissioning an Architect to work with, remember that, as the client, they have your best interests at heart. They will ensure that any project is managed and completed to a high standard. You will have a fabulous addition to your home, however large or small. Bear in mind that it may not seem so at the time, but using your architect to provide you with all the details needed for a project, and project management, will ensure that you save time and money. Why settle for less?!

Whilst our website and email continue to operate via an alternative provider, we no longer have an office number due to BT Openreach being unable to offer this service to us due to the updating of their copper lines, and their internet service is so poor where we are that we are unable to use a cloud based system for the phone line. It is not something that BT Openreach intends to rectify either, unfortunately.The joys of working in a rural location (well, this particular rural location, not all are the same…) Thank you!
