    Product Description

This stunning Pharoah Cat is part of a fantastic collection of hand-painted porcelain animals inspired by the art of Henry Moore, Picasso and others, being created during the mid-20th Century by artists working at the famous porcelain factory at Ćmielów in south-eastern Poland, where high quality porcelain has been manufactured since 1804.

The pieces are hand-made in the original moulds, which were designed in the 50’s and 60’s, with one or two new designs being introduced every year.

These striking pieces are extremely collectable and very expressive in their simplicity.

Each piece of Ćmielów comes in its own box with a registered and numbered card of authenticity.
