What’s on your Christmas list?

Unbelievably, we have now been in our new premises for three months – where does the time go?  It will be Christmas next …!

We have rather enjoyed creating our window displays; these being something of a novelty as we did not have the facility of being able to do this at our previous Studio and Gallery.  We’ve had lots of good comments from passers-by and clients and customers which is great and really helpful.

The Gallery is home to some fantastic pieces at the moment, including an original pair of Art Deco cinema seats which are great fun and always a talking point when clients call in, to Bell Pottery and an amazing life-size carved head of a Tribal Witchdoctor, plus all the other great pieces which you can find on our website or by calling in to see us.

Hand Painted Bell Pottery Bowl – just one example of the pieces currently in stock.

Josh is really busy on the architectural design and interior design front, having a number of projects in progress and including the full development of an old farmhouse and barns for a private client; a challenging but rewarding job with amazing scope from a design perspective.

We are also, with the kind permission of some previous clients, arranging for photography of some of Josh’s projects which will shortly be available to view on our website.  Wherever possible, we like to use local businesses ourselves and The Sketch Collective are carrying out the photography for us, but we’re just waiting for the odd nice day weather-wise – we could be waiting a long time … hopefully not too long.

Last but not least, now is the time to start thinking about those special gifts for Christmas, particularly if you want something a bit different from the obligatory pair of socks and shower gel set, though they do have their uses.  With a number of interesting pieces in the Gallery, from original oil paintings to original and iconic pieces of furniture you will definitely find that special something through us.
